Rice stuffed cabbage rolls

The filling for such cabbage rolls is very easy to make. 10 minutes should be soaked rice, then rinse it under running water and cook until half ready. Then the rice is poured onto a sieve so that excess water is gone.

Meanwhile, the onion is finely ground andfried in a frying pan. Carrot tinder on a large grater and add to the onion. All this is carefully extinguished. It also sends 50 ml of tomato juice or diluted tomato paste. As soon as the mixture reaches the boil, it is removed from the heat and cooled.

Carrot and rice are thoroughly mixed andseasoned with salt and pepper. This is the filling for future cabbage rolls. A small amount of filling is put on a cabbage leaf and wrapped in the form of pancakes.

In the leaves of cabbage, the filling is laid out and wrapped in the form of small envelopes. These cabbage rolls are placed in a pan and completely filled with water. On the fire the dish is stewed for about an hour.

In the meantime, you can prepare a roast. The onion is ground, and the carrot is grated. All this is passaged, and then the tops are laid on top of ready-made cabbage rolls.

Sour cabbage rolls with vegetables

An excellent cold snack is sourcabbage rolls. Ingredients need the most common. Among them, 2 carrots, onions, celery (necessarily root), cabbage, garlic, salt, chili and black pepper. First, the filling is prepared for future cabbage rolls. Finely cut carrots, onions and celery. All this is fried in oil. About a third of the cabbage is chopped and mixed with vegetable minced meat. Garlic, salt and pepper are added here.

Vegetarian cabbage rolls with potatoes

Just cook the winter cabbage rolls without meat. However, they will always be a favorite household dish. For this, 2 carrots, a piece of celery root and a half kilo of potatoes are boiled.
