1 cup warm (235 ml) coffee or strong tea;

four glasses (60 ml) of vodka.

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Generously lubricate the form for baking with oil. If the shape is deep, its bottom should be laid out with oiled parchment paper, cut to size. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves and sweet pepper. We make a depression in the center to later pour into it the "liquid component" of the test.

In another bowl, mix: butter, honey, white and brown sugar, eggs, vanillin, coffee or tea, orange juice and vodka. By the way, honey should be measured with the same glass, in which there was oil.

We connect the dry and liquid components of the test. If you use a mixer, mix the dough better at a low speed to get a thick smooth mixture, from which our honey pie will also grow.

Spoon the dough into one form, or divide itits two or even three forms, if you have one. In small forms, the honey pie is baked much faster - 40-45 minutes, whereas in one large form the baking time lasts from 60 to 75 minutes. Choose the option that suits you best.

The honey pie is ready when the wooden skewer leaves it dry. As soon as this happens, we boldly take the cake out of the oven and give it 15 minutes to "rest". Done! You can take it out of shape!

Honey cake with sour cream

We take:

6 tablespoons of honey;

60 grams of butter;

30 grams of sugar;

4 eggs;

3 teaspoons of soda;

400-480 grams of wheat flour.

The cream for the honey cake consists of: 1200 ml of sour cream; 2 glasses of sugar, or even better - powder.

1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C

2. Melt the honey, butter and sugar together. Pour this mixture into eggs, stir.

3. Mix the soda with the flour, gradually add the dry mixture to the liquid, until the dough turns out, which will not stick to the hands.

4. Divide the dough into 12-16 pieces (depending on the size of your form).

5. On the flour-padded surface, roll each piece of dough into a thin (2-3 mm) circle and bake in the oven for about 5 minutes. We also cut the baked cake exactly in shape, and cut the scraps into crumbs to decorate the cake.

6. We repeat everything with the remaining test. By the way, these layers can be prepared in advance, even a few days before the planned feast.
